Hajinder Singh is a founding and managing partner of Messrs Jack, Hajinder Singh & Partners, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
He graduated with LL.B (Hons) from the University of the West of England, Bristol in 2009, completed the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) awarded by the Malaysian Legal Professions Qualifying Board in 2010, and obtained a Diploma in International Arbitration in 2010. He was called to the Malaysian Bar on 17 April 2012.
Hajinder’s practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation. He has extensive experience relating to insurance matters and representing insurance companies – handling general and subrogation claims, life insurance disputes, fire damage claims, marine insurance and charter party matters, and debt recovery. His litigation practice encompasses contractual disputes, land matters, defamation, tort claims, personal injuries and construction disputes.
Hajinder has appeared before the Competition Commission in matters concerning the regulations and compliance under the Competition Act 2010 and has acted and assisted clients in Police and MACC investigations.
In addition to contentious work, Hajinder advises companies and individual on corporate agreements, polices, agency rules and by-laws and employment matters.
He combines courtroom experience with advisory practice to provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal solutions.
